An interesting theory for why this is good is if we want to treat this 4-bit
data as 1-bit data, we want the subarray [400]
. It's easier to directly
acess in little endian as just data[0]
, instead of in big endian where
it would be data[3]
. So, storing stuff backwards makes it easier to chop off
the LSBs data, since that's the suffix .
