• Bm7b5: B (bass); A B D F (b7, 1, 3, 5) [half diminished chord ]
• E7alt: E (bass); Ab C D G (major 3rd, sharp 5, 7, sharp 9) [dom7, like the 5 in blues ]. This resolves to minor in 1.
• Am: A (bass); 7 9 3 5 (G B C E)
• Can just alternate E7alt and Am on Cmin scale / blues.

• Gdom7: G(bass); F A B E [play on G mixolydian ]

• A7alt: A (bass); G C C# F (7, #9, 3, #5) (A Bb C C# Eb F# G): 9th and 5th are altered in both directions. Drone with the A note. Play the tension notes
